Top Tips For Keeping Your Child Engaged

Keeping your child engaged during sporting activities will always be challenging, especially for very young children, however there are a number of methods that parents / carers can use to keep those engagement levels up, and those smiles on their faces smiling for as long as possible!

  1. Theatrics - Make everything you do theatrical! Whether it’s diving the wrong way when in goal against your child, or over zealous celebrations when your child slots one home, there are plenty of ways to make yourself as captivating and exciting as possible for your young child.

  2. Interactive Videos - Use our interactive videos to capture your child’s imagination. Each story requires your child to complete the activity in order to progress, creating a real purpose to the activity.

  3. Short, Frequent Sessions - Don’t complete loads of activities in one day! Eek them out over multiple days, perhaps even try practicing just one activity per session, but making sure your child really nails it with all of the upgrades by the end of it.

  4. Tracking - Show your child their progress in a tangible way, to celebrate their success throughout their journey, but to also show them where they’re at and how many activities they have left to go.

  5. Rewarding - Reward progress! Whether that’s by using our certificates, or in your own way, regular rewarding will make your child want to come back for more activities to unlock their next reward!
